Hassan slides the laminated route cards back into the driver's-ed cabinet while the last group parks beside the practice cones. The instructor had asked him to send one closing message after checking the log sheet and returning the key pouch. Hassan found his night-driving observation line still blank, because he missed that slot during a school assembly. He sent a quick message that said it was back, and he still needed to make up the driving thing. The instructor can handle one make-up request today, but only if the message names the missing requirement and confirms the key pouch location. The cabinet will be locked after this driver's-ed slot, so another vague message could carry the problem into next week.
