What teachers say
Well structured and impossible not to learn from
An incredibly useful book. It’s well structured, great diagrams and the exercises really do challenge you to think about what you have learned (and go back and check too). These, too, are well laid out and easy to follow what is being asked. It’s really very good and will be recommending!
Comprehensive for anyone interested in becoming a nurse
Well organized book that comprehensively covers a lot of the body systems. This book is helpful for anybody interested in becoming a nurse or a technician in the medical field. The book is a workbook that has questions and answer keys.
Most Insightful!
This book is excellent! I think this book is suitable for middle-aged readers who have health issues that need to be addressed. Understanding that the Integumentary System is your skin and that it is the body’s largest organ, and it’s part of your defense squad. I never knew that we could grow a new stomach lining every 3–4 days to protect it from acid. This book has all of the astonishing facts about the human body. A must-read!
Great workbook for learning the human body
As I grow older, this topic becomes increasingly interesting. This book is a really helpful guide for anyone just curious, studying health science or getting into a medical field. It covers all the main body systems in a clear and easy way, with worksheets, notes, and answer keys included. I liked how everything is well organized, and the questions and examples make it easier to remember what you learn. Perfect for anyone who wants to understand how the human body works. Highly recommend!
Excellent Book
Loved this book. Great way to learn about all the essential components of the human body and how they work together. Loved all the different activities included, as well as the bits of medical history in each section. A well-balanced, engaging introductory text that makes me want to read more from this series!
good
I appreciate these books. The fun activities help solidify the material and provide a nice mental break. I also appreciated the various case studies, which enable you to assess whether you are grasping the material. The questions and layout are great for processing so much information.
good anatomy guide
Straightforward guide for human body for students. Good diagram and good exercise to remember these hard medical terms for CNAs and other health care student. Helpful guide with good real life examples.
A MUST READ BOOK TO UNDERSTAND THE HUMAN BODY
This workbook, which was created for students in health-related programs, is a straightforward and helpful guide to comprehend the human body, in my opinion. It made difficult subjects easy to understand and related them to actual healthcare activities. It's ideal for teaching and learning because it includes case studies, notes, puzzles, and answer keys. For aspiring CNAs and medical assistants, it is excellent resource.
Anatomy Made Simple
Super clear and easy to follow—this workbook makes learning anatomy actually interesting. Great mix of real-world examples, case studies, and fun stuff like crosswords. It is perfect for future CNAs or anyone in healthcare training who wants to get it without getting overwhelmed.
Basic but good anatomy guide
Let me begin with the disclaimer that I was an anatomy teaching assistant in college. This book would be too basic for that. It is appropriate for those preparing to be CNAs. I appreciate that it included case scenarios with real-life examples, as well as fun activities like word finds and crosswords. I also liked that it gave the answers to the quizzes, word finds, and crosswords in the back of the book. I believe it is very good for the audience it is targeting.
