Great Resource for Homeschool Kids or Anyone that Wants to Understand the World Around Them!

This workbook begins in at easy beginner level that draws kids in. It advances smoothly and simply and you just know that is exactly where it should go next. My grandson took to this book quickly and is excited to keep moving through the sections and do all the extras. He has always been interested the the environment and this workbook has been an option to advance his interest. As an adult, I really like the layout with each section having understandable articles that get your child into the subject, quizzes their knowledge as they go and reinforces the information with trivia. Who doesn't love trivia!! Finally, the critical thinking portions in every single section gives a variety of options to think through and relate the topics to your own life and geography. This product really starts right here at home and encourages kids to understand their own backyards before taking them around the world, back in time and into the future to concrete the ideas and information in a vast array of circumstances.
