An excellent teaching resource (even for non-science teachers)

A good school librarian keeps themself abreast on all class subject matters across grade levels, arming oneself with lessons, multi-format learning materials, and facts so as to best promote library and classroom coordination and cooperation. Hence the reason, aside being interested in science for its own sake, I bought this. Five lab-tested Stars for an excellent teaching resource.

Buen libro

Made science finally click

I got this for my niece who struggles with physics and chemistry, and wow, what a difference it made. The explanations are clear, straight to the point, and actually make tough topics easy to understand. I love that it includes both the workbook and answer keys, so she can check her progress right away. The lecture notes are super helpful too—it’s like having a teacher explain things step-by-step. She’s now way more confident doing her science homework and even enjoys it. Definitely worth it for students who want to boost their understanding without getting overwhelmed.

Great Supplemental Workbook

This will be a great addition to any high school physical science classroom curriculum. There are some good features to this book: NGSS aligned, slideshows online, and various activities. The lessons are good for introducing, reinforcing, and I found giving students a chapter on sub days worked well too.

Starting Strong with Science at Home

I got this for my 12-year-old who just started middle school. We're easing into it, taking it slow, but so far it's been a helpful resource. It’s clear, well-organized, and makes science feel less overwhelming. Hoping it builds a solid foundation over time.

GREAT Basic Physics Guide

25X Physical Science is an outstanding guide that starts off with a basic understanding of physics. Then the book evolves into teaching why physics is so important and then into practical, academic instruction with real-world examples. We purchased the Kindle version and much to our surprise, the worksheets were formatted perfectly for printing. Overall, an excellent read for students and adults as well.
